Senior Research Associate – Protein Biochemistry
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated researcher to lead our Recombinant Protein Purification project. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of generating high-purity proteins, from molecular cloning and in vitro expression to advanced characterization. This is a critical role for those passionate about protein engineering and biochemical analysis.
What you’ll do:
- Design and execute molecular cloning strategies and PCR amplification for gene of interest.
- Optimize in vitro protein expression systems (Bacterial/Mammalian).
- Perform multi-step protein purification using AKTA/FPLC systems (Affinity, IEX, and SEC).
- Characterize purified proteins using SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and UV-Via spectroscopy.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and troubleshot complex biochemical challenges.
- Education: PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field, or M.Sc. with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise: Hand-on experience in molecular biology and protein purification is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills.
