BCA Estimation Kit with Protein Standard
Accurate protein quantification is essential in life science research, from enzyme activity studies and protein–protein interaction assays to sample preparation for advanced downstream analyses.

Description

Accurate protein quantification is essential in life science research, from enzyme activity studies and protein–protein interaction assays to sample preparation for advanced downstream analyses. The BCA Protein Estimation Kit provides a dependable solution, delivering precise, reproducible results across a wide range of biological samples, including cell lysates, serum, plasma, and urine.

Using the well-established bicinchoninic acid (BCA) chemistry, the assay produces a stable purple color when protein–copper complexes are formed under alkaline conditions. The intensity of this color, measurable at 562 nm, directly correlates with protein concentration, ensuring consistent and quantitative assessment.
